Art across the park

The festival presents artists from around the country across 19 disciplines. The juried format makes this an opportunity to compare very different work in one walk: painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and other handmade art. The organizer names acrylic painter Aubrey Hogan as its 2026 featured artist. Look for the ways her textured paint surfaces build depth, then spend time with the work of artists you do not know yet.

Artists are present to talk about materials and process, making the show especially useful if you are beginning to collect. Ask how a piece is made and what it needs at home. If you purchase a large work, the festival says its patron art pickup area can hold it while you continue browsing. Music, food trucks, children’s activities and demonstrations are part of the wider festival, but the artist booths are the reason to give yourself several hours.

Tickets, parking and arrival

Buy admission online before arriving. General admission parking is at Delmar Stadium, 2066 Mangum Road, with shuttle service to the festival entrance; the organizer lists a $12 parking and shuttle charge. There is no general admission parking at the show site. Rideshare drop-off is at the South Picnic Loop entrance, and bicycle racks are available. The festival is rain or shine. Confirm the current parking terms and festival map on the official site before traveling.

Make the most of your visit
