Art beside the lake

Homespun Events is bringing a large juried artist lineup to the lakeside path. The fair includes an emerging-artist section, a chance to discover newer makers alongside established exhibitors.

The program also includes live music, a kids’ area and a Harvest Market. The artist booths are the main destination, with the lake and fall color shaping the setting.

Getting there

West Bde Maka Ska Parkway closes to motor traffic from West Lake Street to Rose Lane during the fair. The organizer recommends walking, cycling or transit and offers free Metro Transit passes. If driving, check the visitor parking map; the north lot is reserved for artists.

Before you go

Check the organizer’s map and current artist directory before you leave. The site lists leashed dogs as welcome and describes step-free access to the artist booths.
