Meet the people behind the work
This is a fair built around handmade fine craft. The organizer requires exhibiting artists to be on site, which gives visitors the chance to ask directly about materials, tools and process. Look closely at how clay, wood, metal and glass have been shaped into objects that are both useful and expressive. The juried lineup includes Tennessee makers and artists from elsewhere in the country.
A first pass through the tents helps you see the range before choosing where to linger. If a piece interests you, ask about care, use and shipping. For handmade work intended as a gift, it helps to know whether the artist can personalize it or provide a care card. Save a booth number if you want to compare several pieces before deciding.
More to explore
Live craft demonstrations make process visible, and the Kids’ Tent offers free hands-on activities. Food vendors give families a convenient break between rows. The setting beside the Parthenon makes the fair easy to pair with a wider park visit, but give the artist booths enough time to enjoy the conversations that make an in-person craft fair special.
