Art and craft at Melrose

The festival brings art, handmade craft, jewelry and other maker goods to the grounds of Melrose on the Cane. Demonstrations offer a chance to see how work is made, while the historic site adds a distinctive context for the weekend.

Melrose on the Cane is a National Historic Landmark associated with artist Clementine Hunter and a long artistic legacy. Guided Big House tours are among the activities described for the festival.

Plan for the site

The organizer says tickets are available online and in person. Because the event was moved from its former season, rely on the current October listing rather than older spring schedules.
