The fourth Waveny Park Arts Festival gathers 50 artists and artisans for a one-day New Canaan show on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Plan your visit

  • When: Sunday, October 11, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Where: Waveny Park and Carriage Barn Arts Center area, 681 South Avenue, New Canaan, Connecticut.
  • Artists: About 50 artist and artisan vendors.
  • Also planned: Live music, entertainment, food trucks, children’s crafts and a Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace.
  • Weather: The organizer plans a rain-or-shine event, with rescheduling possible in extreme weather.

The Carriage Barn Arts Center’s 2026 festival page lists hours, participating artists and activities.

A park day devoted to art

The exhibitor list ranges from painting and photography to ceramics, jewelry, printmaking, woodwork and other handmade goods. A smaller roster makes it easy to talk with makers and return to pieces you want to see again.

Music, food trucks and children’s crafts make the park suitable for a longer visit. The Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace gives school-age makers a place in the festival.

Make a one-day plan

The festival is Sunday only and closes at 4 p.m. Arrive with enough time for the artist booths and any performances you hope to see; check the current page for the final exhibitor list.

Before you go

Because the event is outdoors, check the organizer for an extreme-weather decision and current parking information before traveling.
